The educational and biblical project of the Amor, Grace and Bread Foundation in the Granizal community, municipality of Bello, was born more than four years ago as an independent initiative among family members and friends. Today, it has grown into a comprehensive program that seeks to transform lives through the love of God, education, and constant support.
Granizal is one of the largest settlements of displaced populations in the country, made up of families displaced by violence and Venezuelan migrants, who live under conditions of high social and economic vulnerability. Currently, in the Pinar – Oasis of Peace sector, we are serving approximately 240 children and adolescents, whom we accompany weekly through a model that integrates biblical teaching, snacks, and academic support by educational level, as well as spaces for guidance, counseling, and spiritual formation for mothers.
Throughout these years, we have provided support through food packages, school supply kits, clothing, health outreach days, Christmas gifts, and academic guidance, always sharing the message of the Gospel and convinced that true transformation begins in the heart. We firmly believe that when a child encounters Jesus and receives tools for their development, their story can change—and when a mother is restored, her entire family can be impacted. For this reason, we continue sowing principles, values, and hope in this community, trusting that Jesus + education is an equation that transforms generations.
